Thank you to all parents and carers for helping their children settle so well. Thank you also to the parents who came to the learning journey meetings. We will be doing 3 a year for each child!
This term our topic is ‘The Star’ and we will be looking at Space and the Nativity story. On these early nights you might like to go outside and take a look at the stars and the moon together, maybe you could make a picture of the moon or build a rocket ship! We’d love to see what Christmas activities you’re doing at home. The children love to share pictures and objects with the class!
This term is all about transport and other countries, during the term we would love to see any show and tell items to do with our topic. This might be a train ticket from a journey, pictures from a holiday or you might have family living in another country and would like to share something about that country!
Our topic this term will be Helpers, focusing on our ‘real life superheroes’ in the emergency services and across the NHS. We will have the chance to role play being police officers and firemen and take part in lots of exciting activities about the helpers in our community.
